Geek Girl Strong is teaming up with BroadwayCon for a special Broadway Fangirl Walking Club event! With stars in our eyes and music in our hearts, we visit some of the places that have a special meaning to almost any Broadway fan!
Once a month Geek Girl Strong hosts a donation-based walking group to and/or from geeky sites in the city, this month we're excited to take a walk around the Theater District to get ready for BroadwayCon!
We will work on our walking skills, share some interesting Broadway facts, sing along to some favorite showtunes, and play some trivia!
What to expect:
- Name tag stickers to make group introductions easier
- Walking recommendations and assistance if needed
- Time to explore our stops
- Walking 1.9 miles
- Giveaways from Mischief Management, the folks who produce BroadwayCon!
What to bring:
- Water
- Comfortable/appropriate walking shoes and clothing
- Your favorite Broadway tune for a singalong!
All levels of walkers are welcome.
